The Chivor Dam is one of the largest reservoirs in Andean Colombia, covering an area of 2,600 hectares. This gigantic lake is surrounded by emerald mines that date back to pre-Columbian times. It is no wonder why there are so many legends associated with it: natives say that it has magical powers and even leads to other worlds!
