___
During these 2 days and 1 night, we will live a natural and physical experience that will connect us with the high mountains of the central mountain range of Colombia, through wonderful trails and landscapes, starting from the Cocora Valley through the Bosque de Niebla (Fog Forest), Estrella de Agua, Paramo de Romerales and the Cañón de la quebrada Cárdenas; with the support of mountain guides with experience in the Andes of Colombia.
Meeting, socialization and delivery of equipment
Our adventure begins in Salento, Quindío, at 5:00 am. Where we will have breakfast and then board a traditional Willys Jeep or a van to the Cocora Valley. We will start walking along the trail to the "Bosque de Niebla", after approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes of walking we will arrive at "Estrella de Agua" at 3100 m.a.s.l. We will have our lunch; we will recharge energies and filter water, then we will continue walking for 4 hours more or less to the "Paramo de Romerales" to arrive at "Finca La Playa" which will be our lodging at 3700 m.a.s.l.
We will rest to be prepared for the next day, and in the evening we will have dinner with traditional peasant food. After dinner, the guide will give a summary of the next day.
We will sleep.
Once we have breakfast at 7 a.m. We will leave "Finca La Playa" towards the Cocora Valley by the same trail that we walked the first day or if you have more time you can take a different but longer route via "Finca la Argentina". We will be returning at approximately 2:00 p.m. to the Cocora Valley.
Then we will board a vehicle that will take us back to the town of Salento, Quindio, to have lunch and talk, deliver the equipment and end the tour and the extraordinary experience.
